Library Resouces for the Hughes STEM
Hughes students have a multitude of library resources available to them:
INFOhio is a FREE digital library available to all Hughes STEM students, teachers, and families. Visit INFOhio.org for tons of resources including Ancestry.com, ISearch, and INFOhio’s Digital Video Collection to name a few. Click your desired grade level or category and begin exploring. If you are accessing the website from school, you will automatically be logged in as INFOhio User. If you would like to access the website from home, a username and password is available through Ms. Lynch or your student’s English Teacher.
Cincinnati Public Library:
The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library, rated as one of the top 10 national libraries, is also a wonderful resource for the BIG RED students. Just like INFOhio, there are many online research databases that are accessible with a Cincinnati Hamilton County Public Library card.
University of Cincinnati Libraries(CECH):
All Hughes students have access to University of Cincinnati libraries. The University of Cincinnati Library has a variety of curriculum resources available for grades k-12. Students must have a Hughes High School ID as well as a UC Library borrower card in order to use the UC libraries. Students will need to get the UC Library borrower card from their teacher. College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services Library (CECH) has 13,000 resources for students in grades 4-12. UC has provided teachers and students with library resouces, procedures for checking out materials & contact information.
Please contact Johanna Lynch if you have questions about library access or procedures.
