Summer Opportunities for 2017!
Summer 2017 In-Reach Golf Academy, Sponsored by the Great Parks of Cincinnati
This extraordinary summer experience available to only 90 students of different cultures. Our goal is to use the medium of golf and other related activities to help these young people come together and experience skill development, recreation, competition and worthy use of leisure time. Multicultural understanding and appreciation for one of America’s favorite pastimes are intended outcomes of each youngster’s participation in this unique instructional program.
The program, available to juniors ages 9-13, is being provided free of charge. It will take place at Meadow Links and Golf Academy located in Winton Woods at the corner of Mill and Sharon Roads. Participants will receive instruction and a snack. Additionally, each participant will be provided clubs to use during the instructional and extended play sessions. Instruction will be held three times a week for two-weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Instructional sessions are scheduled June 6, 7, 8 and June 13, 14, 15 from 10 a.m. - Noon.
In addition to the instructional sessions, there will be the opportunity for extended play, enabling the youngsters to use the skill learned in the instructional sessions by playing golf. The number of participants selected for the summer in-Reach Golf Academy is limited. Interested participants must be able to attend all instructional sessions in June.

INTERAlliance Summer Careers Camp for Current Sophomores (waiting for 2017 updates)
Students explore what the possibilities in IT really are, all while earning a "Mini-MBA" and experiencing college life for a week. We impress to students that IT exists in business to solve problems. The IT Careers Camp is not a computer camp, nor a programming camp, nor a STEM camp. This nationally acclaimed unique camp experience introduces students first-hand to how technology is applied to real-world business problems.
Further, the IT Careers Camp shows students how there is a career in technology for everybody. IT is much more than just programming. The IT Careers Camp introduces students to the possibilities for careers in all parts of technology, from programming to graphic design, and from IT project management to data science.
The 2016 IT Career Camps will take place the weeks of July 11, July 18, July 25, and August 1. The application is now available at interalliance.org/itcc and is open to all current sophomores. Applications are due April 8th.
The P&G Resident Scholar Program
This is a unique, interactive 1-week Job Shadowing experience for High School minority students (10th and 11th grade during the 2016/2017 school year) interested in pursuing careers in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics). The impact that this experience has had on the students has been phenomenal!

Networking for Summer Employement Opportunities: City of Cincinnati’s annual Youth Employment & Opportunity Expo 2017
Please mark your calendar for the City of Cincinnati’s annual Youth Employment & Opportunity Expo to be held March 4th, 2017 at the Price Hill Recreation Center, 959 Hawthorne Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45205. The Expo will take place from 8 am to 12 pm and highlight opportunities within the City for youth opportunities and employment.
This event is designed to connect area youth, ages 14-18, with employment for the summer months. Connecting young people to jobs is a vital element to having a thriving City, providing both a paycheck and valuable life skills to be successful as adults. We are looking for individuals that desire an experience in the criminal justice field. This exposure is for young men and women with integrity and values that will be exemplified throughout their learning experience. Learn defensive tactics, explore the criminal justice system, be exposed to real life situations with the police tatcitcs training system, obtain opportunities for future employment with the city of Cincinnati.
